Our last stop in India was Delhi, where we shopped, and shopped, and got some clothes made. You could really get anything there! Wild.
We took the metro there, somewhat like the skytrain in Vancouver, but efficient. It was great and very modern with a/c .
We enjoyed our flight back and are still trying to cope with the time change. Making the most of our return to Canada and the rest of our vacation time....
Guess this is it....

Finally, we made it to India, we've been planning this trip for a while and we are very excited...

We did the most touristic parts of India at the end of our trip. We thought since we've been there for almost 4 months that it would make it easier, but we were wrong. By this point the craziness was just getting too much, and the heat was just painful! We spent a few days in Varanasi, on the ganges river, where it is the prime cremation site for Hindus, guaranteeing them frredom from the cycle of life and death. We saw the cramation sites, walked the winding alleys of the cities, and were amazed at the giant cows the city was home to. Home was on our mids, but we were still glad to have come to this incredible city that is so important to India.
yap, just like that, these men were literally running this ride, and they were going fast, it was pretty crazy to see, and no we didn't go on it.
So, the Taj Mahal is in Agra, about 2 hours from Delhi. We took an express train that left Delhi at 6:15 am, but it was nice and included breakfast, and our very own little pot of tea!
We rested in Agra, and spent the second days checking out the sights. the taj mahal, of course was just amazing and huge. we went at dusk and enjoyed the sunset colors over the incredible white marble structure.
